Wonder where the idea came from? Well, here’s a little history. We got the idea from the Santa Clara of Silicon Valley Club when a couple of us attended a Sierra Pacific Regional Conference fundraising
workshop. We discussed the idea with our club and decided we would try it because it sounded like something fun for everyone and a little different! Of course, doing anything for the first time is a bit of a challenge, but we did it!
Here’s what you will find at our ‘Bags to Benefit’ event. Bags (purses, tote bags, backpacks) that are new, like new or very gently used and filled with mostly consumables or experiences. Some are silent auction items that you bid on and others are raffle items that you buy tickets for. Â Proceeds are used to fund our local programs.
